will a Ford 720 loader fit a Ford 3000?

Hey I was wondering if any would know if a Ford 720 loader would fit a Ford 3000? I noticed on my tractor that my front pivot pin isn't completely hollow on the crank shafts end ,do you have to open it up or do I have to use a different one for a front loader pump? Thanks! I'm not going to be using the loader for crazy heavy constant loads, just around the house to make life easier knowing the front axle isn't the strongest design

I believe a 720 was made for the pre 65
models and would be too narrow for your
3000.
Anything is possible with a torch and
welder but if the 720 is the one I'm
thinking with all the curved pipe frame in
front (kinda like the 730s) it would be a
huge task to modify one to fit.
In addition to the 727 and 730 Bill
mentions a 770 and 772 are good choices.

this is what it looks like

so this one would require a bit of fabrication to make it work? I was hoping this one would work ,not having much luck finding one in my area, a guy has an older superior says came off 3000 but the shape I don't think it will fit with my cab

I would hold out for a 730, it's the right one for the tractor. Just a personal preference, but I'd stay clear of the 772 style loaders, good loaders no doubt, but the frame part that goes to the rear axle is right in the way when you go to get on the tractor. I had one that came on my 2600, it drove me nuts, I took it off and sold it.

I had one on a 68 ford 3000 that came with the tractor. The guy had them separated when I purchased it and said it would work. When I went to put them together I realized it was all cobbled up and there is no way it would work. I spend a lot of time customizing parts and finally got it on the tractor. Once I started using it, it was worthless. The tractor wasn't made for it and the front created all sorts of issues. After a year of tinkering with it and having to replace parts on the tractor I gave up. Sold the loader and bought a Ford 771 loader. That worked fine and never had any issues. I would not waste your time and go get a 771 or 772 loader

Good luck
