Difference mounting Dear 14-15 on 600 than 8N

Finished mounting a Dearborn 14-16 sickle from 8N to Ford 600 and discovered the following:
1.the 600 3 point lifts 1/2" higher than 8N, requiring a longer lift arm extension of 5/8" (8 1/8" longer than original 7.5", so top link is able to slide home and not make relief valve "squel".
2. The 600 and 8N have different sway bar mounts and putting on the 8N break-away-sway bar on right requires adjusting the break-away rod length on the mower to make the sickle bar run perdicular to the forward travel. ie. long 2 X 4" under tractor canter with 2 X 4" at right angle from the other 2 X 4 , behind suckle bar.
3 Bought a 1 3/8" splined snap coupler PTO drive (meant for a fertilizer spreader) from TSC 3/4" X 7/8" square slide machined down to Dearborn 3/4" X 3/4". 1" cut off female end to accomadate snap coupler length. Plastic safety guard now makes the PTO OSHA copliant and keeps hay from winding around drive.
4. dilled out lift arms to get rid of 50 years wear. 23/32" drill and 18 MM bolts as mower is right sude heavy and pushes up on left arm. Made extensions out of pipe welded together.

Hope the above helps somebody
