i have Ford 601 {12v converted] that would not do anything when pushing start button. replaced solenoid {from auto parts] , and when key is turned solenoid clicks, thats all, start button never pushed. Got 2nd solenoid from YT, turn key, all good, push start button, starter turns...but NEVER stops turning. Starter mechanic tested starter, its fine. i took photos of solenoid wiring prior to work, wired back same way. using 12v solenoids. push button switch seems simple, i wouldn't think it was bad. ordered push button anyway, will try that next. I NEED EXPERT HELP !!
