Hi,
I bough a replacement PS pump for my 861 as experts here were correct- the eaton was unrebuildable. I bought the replacement form O'reillys as recommedned by other posts here and it is in fact a nearly identical replacement.
The one glicth I have hit is the pressure outlet. The old pump had a metal block wiht a male flare fitting and a banjo bolt that bolted tot he port on the pump. On the new pump, ther threads are tapped the same, but there are two key differences
1- the banjo bolt is about 1 mm too long
2- the pump casting is rough on the surface around the tapped hole for the pressure port- it is not machined to seal.
Anyone else have this problem?
thank you
BIll
