1974 Ford 5000 remote hydraulics valve.

Hello all. A few weeks ago I was asking
about buying a new remote hydraulic
valve. I have found an original used
valve and I am told it is good. What I
need to know if in the future it goes
bad can they be rebuilt? Can you buy a
rebuild kit (have not seen any) or can
any good hydraulic shop rebuild it?

All that is serviceable is some orings and centering/detent parts. When spools get pitted and or lands get worn you replace whole valve.

The new one is not far off from the price of the used one. Think I might as well get a new one.
