Any interest in a mounted Ford corn picker?

It was shedded up until about 6 years ago. Unfortunately the snout was sitting on sand and has some cancer there. The rest is straight with surface rust. It is a single row, we used it on an Allis Chalmers WD45 tractor until we went with pull type pickers. Located near Bonesteel, SD. Make offer.

Buy the tractor brackets from him and find a picker closer to you.

That's the older red model with the narrow elevator, I have some of the later blue models with the wider elevators.
What condition are the snapping rolls in, not sure if they'll fit mine but I think they will.
I've got one good rubber roll and a half worn quartz roll, if you want to part in I'd be interested in in the roll if it's not completely worn out, rubber, quartz or plain steel.

Not sure what the rollers are like, but this picker has not picked much corn. It was never used since about 1966 or so, the start of a 10 yr drought and we never picked an ear of corn until 1976. At that time we had other pickers that were easier to use. If we don't have anyone interested in the whole thing I will see if my brothers are willing to part it, but probably easier to just load it on the scrap truck. This is just part of a lot of older machinery we need to clean up from my parent's estate.

Wish it was closer, I'd buy it for parts.
The flat chain and sprockets on the cross conveyor tells me it has a husking rolls, I have one with the husking bed but the rolls have a good amount of wear and the bottom of the elevator is rusted out.
The one I'm using now was a one owner stored in a barn for over 30 years off the ground and is in excellent condition for it's age, it doesn't have the husking bed and the quartz roll is about half worn.

If you do decide to scrap it let me know, only have to remove a couple of bolts to drop the roll out and the upper section of the roll separates from the lower, so it's not a large item to ship.

The picker frames are all the same but those WD mounting brackets are unique and hard to come by, I'd hate to see them scraped.

Ford brackets on the other hand are simple, I have one set of originals on my 801 and have made two more sets for my 4000 and 4000SU.
