I just bought a 1955 or 6 ford 620 (no hydraulics or pto) and was looking for some general info on it. I also really want to know how many were made because it's suppose to be rare

There were no records that I'm aware of on the breakdown of each
model. You could order the 620 which was a basic model and the
dealer could put on options. Most 620 's were used for backhoes
or to pull reel gang mowers around golf courses so I would think
not all that many were made. Just because not many were made
doesn't mean they are worth a lot more money.

I concur with Kirk-NJ. And any records that were kept were lost in a fire many years ago that Ford had. Not many of them around because no
one wanted them then and not many people want them now. Rare? I suppose. Valuable? Less than one with the PTO and 3 point (640,641),
imo
