Ford 6000 lp wheatland

I was wondering about the production number and value of this tractor. I would appreciate any feedback . The tractor seems to be a nice oringinal tractor . Might be able to post pics later.

There are no production numbers... tractors were serial numbered sequentially as they came off the assembly line, regardless of what model they were. An LP, wheatland 6000 is fairly uncommon, but value would be hard to place. A collector would value it much more than someone wanting a worker.

There were wide and narrow front rowcrops and an all-purpose/short-wheelbase wide front. Some people call that a "wheatland". My understanding is that there was also a "true" wheatland model - the short-wheelbase wide front and no three-point.
My Grandpa had a short wheelbase Commander, but with a 3-point. I'll post a picture of it in the photo gallery to the left.

My Dad bought a rebuilt 6000 in 62 or 63 It was a row crop. We had oodles of trouble with it. When I was in the Navy in 69 he bought a new 8000. Which was a great tractor.
