I have a 2810 1988 year model 1229 hrs I bought it from the original owners daughter the tractor is as close to a
new one as you could get well the alternator light has been on for the past year I had to charge the battery once in
the past year so I finally get it in the shop and take the alternator off and take it to town and have it checked it's
putting out as it should so I go to the NH dealership and get a new voltage regulater 80.00 later the light is still on I
checked voltage at battery at idle 13.43 now what I'm stumped

First off.. did someone swap the bulbs around.. it could be an oil pressure light, or maybe the restricted air filter light...put into the wrong socket, behind the dash.... And either of those may be the problem...I see it occasionally on tractors coming through.
