Hello all, Need help finding injector tips for Simms injectors that are on my Ford 861 diesel. Part number of the existing tips is NL123.I
google it and all i get is overseas suppliers, mostly England. Local tractor dealer only has Ford part numbers. Can i put a Ford injector
tip on a Simms body?If so what part number? Or where in the USA can i get the Simms tips, and copper tip washers? You guys never fail me.
Need this tractor for hay season ,here in upstate New York in 2 weeks. Thanks to all.... Darryl
 
Give Dieseltech a holler. He can fix you up. Those Ford injectors are Simms by the way. Test your injector return line with a little soapy water in a syringe at each joint if you dont want diesel in your oil. You can hook a rubber line where it comes out of the head and just blow in it,if you have leaks it will show up. You can use air pressure but i wouldnt hold it close to the head fitting as you dont want to blow a solder joint. I tried the new brass? washers that Ford sells and got leaks at every injector. I went back to copper, it gives to the torque put on it.
