I'm looking at a 3910 and have a couple of questions:
1. I want to use it on a 190 6' drum mower that weighs 900-1000#, 3 pt. Rating on the mower is 35 hp min. Not concerned about the hp
being adequate, but the weight. In the transport position, unlike a 1200# bale of hay, it sticks out the side of the tractor, by 6'.
2. Solution to 1 would be front weights or welding a counterbalance weight on the 3 pt hitch protruding out the opposite side.
3. No current weight/bracket on front of nominee. Are there places on the front of the frame to mount a couple of large bolts to support
100-200# of weight?
4. The front end looks like my 2000 and 3000. Parts interchangeable?
5. How do they stand up to heavy weights?
---------------
I want a special tractor for mounting my mower during the haying season and otherwise not much use for it. I like the 3910 because of it's
amenities and it's not big and row crop which don't work good in my irregular fields.
Thanks for any thoughts on the task and the tractor.
