Should the transmission oil in a 1960 Power Major be 90 wt. gear oil, or should it be universal tractor fluid where the hydrolics and transmission are the same??? My tractor has remote hydrolics to run a cylinder on a machine like a haybine lift or an angle cylinder for a york rake also the 3 point hitch works off of the trans oil.
I know the old N series Fords were 90 Wt. and the newer Fords are universal fluid.
