Help identifying this Fordson.

Hi,
This is my first post on this forum and i am after finding a old fordson today.I am no expert on fordsons but have interest in them.(we own 2 Ford model T's).This one has a crank handle(yea, they all came with one,LoL),rubber tires,Bracket for a light,moto-meter,fuel tank for petrol and fuel tank for TVO/kero.The pulley for Powering threshers/grain mills, etc is steel,no rubber.I have been searching on Google for a similar Rear wheel on this one,i cannot find one.Is is a disk wheel and ribs through it.The front wheels are similar to all other Fordsons.I think its a late Fordson 'N'.
Parked beside it is a old Grey T-20 TVO (rust heap).

I cant upload photos as my account is to new so i will post a URL to my photo bucket account:

Hi the Serial No is on the clutch/gearbox housing just to the rear of the join above the belt pulley area. It is probably under a zillion layers of paint and collected grunge. If you find it and post the No here, we can tell you fairly accurately what it is and date it. If you post All the figures/No's we can tell you the gear ratios as well. Regards MTF

Bearing in mind I know little to nothing about Fordsons, it looks to me a bit like a bitza. I would imagine that the radiator top tank (and probably all of the other blue bits at the front) are off an E27N. The reason being I don't recall any of the Standard Fordsons having 'Major' cast into the tank below the 'Fordson'. Sam

Thanks tractorsam,
The radiator looks Like its off a E27N now that i look at it.I dought its a "bitza" as the original rad could of bust/leak and then the owner went down to the scrap yard and took a rad off a old E27N,(not much chance it would be better than the one he took off the N anyway.)It also looks like it isint a "bitza" as the tractor looks like its been lying there a good 20 years and who would want to spend money restoring a old, worn out tractor about 20 or so years ago over here.(note : tree growing through drivers area).

Here in the UK a contractor fitted a E27N radiator to a N tractor as he could not find a proper one. It was allwas known as the Mimi Major tractor and is now owned by the contractors daughter. MJ

Wheels look like British or Australian style. If originally an American import, it would have had F&H or Electric Motorwheels fitted, or more likely yet, the original lug wheels cut off and rubber tire rims welded on.

If it is a true E27N, there should be a data plate on the firewall under the gas tank. It should have two brake pedals on the LEFT side, clutch pedal on right side. It would have a tin oilbath aircleaner. I suspect it's an N with a E27N radiator fitted. Hard to see details.
