according to tractor data the super major was sold as the ford 5000 in the us. are there any similarities between the two? my super has a totally rebuilt motor and inj. pump, plus a fel. rear tires are not great, rest of tractor is very clean and works good. just wandering what it mite be worth?

Too many similarities to list. Not too many differences. Value to a Ford fan will vary from $1500 to $3000, including the loader. If the loader is a name-brand that can be fitted to other tractors, it could be sold off for $1000.

The Super Major was sold as a Ford 5000 in 1963 & 64. It was the same as the Super Major, but was painted blue with the hood, fenders and wheels painted light gray. A brand new 5000 was introduced for the 1965 model year that was a completely different beast.
