Fordson Year?

I have a Fordson and am trying to figure out year model so I may get it running. The Head shows MONOCYL, 3711?140, Oil pan has 0880225/T1/18J8. Transmission shows ENFO # 957E 7005/T4/B23D. Rear axle right 957E4012C/T3, B 2M5. Left side ENFI/D2, C17D/T3 Simms pump shows SPE3A605 402. 2CKM 1372. Stater is a LUCAS 26143N 1162, M45GCW84 12V.

I don't recognize any date codes, but 957 indicates a Fordson Dexta, which began in 1957.
Last ones were made about 1964. There were 3 models, the Dexta, the Super Dexta and the Gasoline
Dexta. The Super Dexta was a little bit more powerful. The serial number should be stamped into
the flange where the engine joins the clutch housing on the left side facing forwards.
Serial Number

As cdmn says you have a Dexta and some of the codes you give are from February/March 1960. All cast parts have a code like B23D, letter/number/letter, and you have found some of them. Don't worry about numbers cast into the parts that start 957E as they are mould codes and are the same on every Dexta.

Serial number from the flange is important, and, if it is a petrol, the engine number from the block stamped into a flat area just above the coil.

The serial number should start 957E or 959E but it will be stamped not cast.

Guess I should have put in that it is a 3 cylinder diesel, need to order injectors or is it possible for a novice with a somewhat smart assistant to just clean them up. Also, based on what I have read the fuel pump concerns me, based on reading about broken springs?

If you do not have the tools I would not touch the injectors, you need brass brushes and probes to clean them and a pressure tester to set them up. It is money well spent to send/take them to a diesel shop.

Do not worry about springs in the pump, there are hundreds of these tractors around the world still working at 50 odd years old and very few have injector pump problems.

The only problems that you may get are the gear levers wearing the bottom off and slipping out of the rails. Especially if handled roughly. Cure is to take the four bolts out and remove the levers, realign the rails with a screw driver and put a bit of weld on the bottom of the levers. Job done for another 50 years.

Another problem may be the Positrol cam follower pin in the hydraulic lift. If you tend to leave the lift set in Position Control, (selector lever pointing parrallel to the lift) the pin is under spring pressure on the cam and does not get a lot of lubrication, after a time it will wear through and affect the lift adjustment. It is easy to replace when you have the top off but running the lift in Qualitrol (Draft) control will reduce wear on the pin. Only select Position Control when you need it like when hitching up or with implements working at a fixed height above the ground. You will find this problem on all smaller Ford and Fordson tractors from the 1950's until the 1980's.

Otherwise you have a good little frugal workhorse.

Found the serial number. Thanks all. Serial number is 957E53727, which say that it is a 1960 Dextra, not Super Dextra qhixh the Radiator shoud shows, am I correct that it is a 32Hp instead of a 45HP

It had to be a Dexta as the Super Dexta did not come out until 1962. I have come across this before in the US where the cowls have been switched and the tractor called a "Super Dexta". A Super would have had a 960E or 09A serial number.
