Last week i picked up a rolling 26 Fordson f and a parts Fordson n from a friend of mine. The N is too far gone to get running while the F only needs a few things, that is why i am here. From what is can tell, I am in need of a carb for the F. I did get and manifold and a complete destroyed carb, but i believe they are off the N. (I believe it is a Zenith carb, manifold has the adapter for a vertical exhaust) What model of carb should the F have it have on it and where could I get one? Thanks.

Some excellent information on this subject has been posted here in the past. One I found by Googling "Fordson Model F Carburetor/Vaporizer". It lists common carburetor types used on the Fordson model F. This was dated 08-16-2010. Could not find it using the YT modern view search. It was common to use an automotive downdraft carburetor.
YT search "Fordson model F carburetor" gives some good info from 8-20-2010.
My Fordson model F had the kerosene burning system which required the kerosene to be heated by drawing it through an area on the side of the exhaust manifold (start up engine using gasoline).
Also some info on the interchangeability of model F and model N parts (8-24-2010).
