Cub Cadet 125

I acquired a 125 last week. Was going to use it for spare parts for my other running Cub. But as it turned out after I cleaned it up and got to looking at it closer. I decided to make a running tractor of it again. I have a engine lined up for a reasonable price and decals on order.

Thanks for the picture. My first Cub Cadet was a 124.

A real good friend of mine had a 125 with a 48" deck that I wanted to buy just the deck as a spare for my Cub 147. Seems like we dickered for a long time as he didn't want to sell only the deck. He finally decided to just give me the tractor, deck, and snow blade. After I got it all cleaned up, repaired and repainted, I decided I'd keep it as a spare tractor, mower, blade combination. Looks like you have a great start in completing a very rewarding project.

Congratulations.

That tractor has the wrong Fender Pan for a 125. Perhaps it is a model 127.

Although not stock, interesting front wheels and rims.
