Just thought I'd give this a try. I'M looking for a few random parts for a Cub Cadet 1450 and I was just wondering if anyone knew of a lawn mower junk yard in central Minnesota. Thanks, Sod buster

It's not a junker, but I bought a used skid loader in Foxhome about 2 or 3 weeks ago. He had a CC mower there with deck in good condition. Didn't pay attention to the model number, but he was fair with me on price (I think so, anyhow) and seems to be an honest guy.

If you are looking for a 982 project tractor, because they are somewhat rare -- the LAST place I would look is a junk yard. OnlyCubCadets.com would be a good starting point for info. Otherwise just keep hitting craigslist. If you include Ohio as the 'midwest' you are getting closer to PA, which probably has the most Cub Cadets per square mile.

what random parts? I have a 1650 parts mower, that may have what you are after. I am taking the ported pump and the lift to retrofit onto a 129 that I have, besides that there is no engine but all else that is there is up for grabs.
