What is year and model of this CC?

It's a model 100, could be a 1963, '64, or '65. The serial number on those were stamped in about 1/8 inch tall numbers on right side of transmission housing about an inch from a raised square pad about an inch square. Numbers are between 65458 to 127160.

Looks like a pretty well kept tractor.
 
If it has a 10 HP motor (K241) it's a 100, if it has a 7HP motor (K161) it's a model 70. They were produced 1963-1965
 
Since I am on this model and year thing.....I have a cc 108 128, and 129 ....
How might I acquire a history of the Cub Cadet production line?

I guess you know about the IHcubcadet forum. I bet serial number info is on there somewhere.

There was serial number info in Sam Moore's book "50 years of Cub Cadet".

Note: As far as I know, all the International Harvester built Cub Cadet serial numbers are jumbled together-no distinction for the different models was made, they just start with 501 (or about that number-there were some experimental models) and go up from there.

IHCUBCADET.COM The home page has a chart of model numbers and serial numbers and years built and significant features of that range of models. There are lists of Frequently asked questions and the monthly list of serial numbers built each month is one of the FAQ's. Info provided by Ken Updike.

IHCC.COM was the original and I believe only currently operating Cub Cadet forum on the internet. Boards like on the Red Power Magazine forum do not get near the traffic as IHCC gets.
