Cockshutt Model C Walk behind

I just bought this little guy yesterday. It is a 1949 Black Hawk sold by Cockshutt in Ontario here I think only in 1949. Anybody have any info on them at all?
Anybody have a Black Hawk like this newer than a 1949? Any brochures or owners and parts manuals available? Thanks.

They are mentioned in Wendell's tractor book, but says a picture is not available. There are a few out there, but not many. Made by the Ohio Cultivator Company and sold through Co-op and Cockshutt.

This Ohio Cultivator Co. tractor looks similar to yours and is pictured in Alan C. King's second volume. This is dated 1940 but yours looks like it is probably a later model based on the wheels and engine. The brackets on the handlebars look identical, though. To follow up on what gtractorfan noted there is no mention of a Blackhawk or Cockshutt garden tractor in the second or third volumes of King's books either.

I'll toss this out there, I have and use two Simplicities, I added a kill switch button on the handle bar on one of them and it's proven a good idea for safety and convenience.

Thanks guys. I do know the Ohio Cultivator Co was bought by Cockshutt in 1952 and in 1955 all production was moved to Brantford. The later ones do seem more rare with the model 14 Briggs and the square fuel tank.

Ok there. Now I can throw in a question too. My grandfather had one of those Simplicity machines and he had the big bad tank of a cart 5hat went with them. It is a beast. Now the mach8ne is long gone but I have the cart. This is 5he correct color. Hunter Green. I have finisedthe running gear, sand blasted, filled, etc. and painted. This spring I will finish it up. This 5hing even has a foot brake to stop things! Works pretty darn good. Has a One inch axle. Now I really don't think this was made by Simplicity, but is after market. For some reason Janson or something like that? Does anyone have literature from around 1952 or so that shows this cart.
