Homelite lawn cart

Can anyone help me with the "correct " color of an old homelike lawn cart? It is blue and black now. Can't find one like it online but did see some white ones and some sold by simplicity that look identical to it.

My humble opinion. Most Homelite stuff is that hot red, or orange red color. Now..... much older Homelite is that medium metalic blue color including their little ridder mowers and chainsaws. Trailers many times were after market supply. Goes way back, nothing new. Many are also rebadged and painted for whatever company. Welll that was a history lesson. I do know almost evrything cub cadet was white. Gravely went through about three shades of red. Simplicity had green, red, and white. Simple answer would be, it depends on the year. Not cut in stone is the problem.

The only Homelite mowers I've seen were blue and white. Except for the hood and grille being different they were basically a Simplicity mower. There is (or was) a Simpletractor forum somewhere on the internet.

If you want to restore it, I would stay with the blue color unless I was totally certain that it should be some other color.

And then there is Hal. he's posted that same picture of his Homelite tractor on here a millon times.
