Cub Cadet i1050 Ground drive belt

I've googled until my eyes are googling, and I can't seem to find an answer. How do you get the drive belt onto the two transmission pulleys. There is a metal retainer that runs behind the pulleys so close that the belts cannot go off - or on the pulley. None of the manuals that I've looked at show that. The owner's manual simply says that the procedure is so difficult that you should simply take it to the dealer. Not good enough.

Has anyone had the pleasure of changing a belt on a zero turn i1050 Cub?

Thanks

Stan

1050 zero

Yes that 's perfect. Where I was stuck was getting the belt from behind the transmission pulleys. I didn't think there was enough room for those slip joint pliers on the shaft beneath the pulley. Thanks.
