I have a old (1964) Simplicity broodmoor lawn tractor that has a 6.5 hp briggs and stratton engine. Can anyone tell me or have a clear diagram of how the throttle and choke linkages are supposed to hook up?
The way mine is set up right now, is that they are backwards to the indications on the panel that has the choke and throttle levers on the operators station. The choke cable attaches directly to the carburetor. The throttle linkage attaches to the side of engine with a rod going from there to the carburetor.
