Hello folks-im new to this so bear with me. I have 2 plows identical to the 2 above One 2 bottom and one 3 bottom. I am quite sure that these are original ih.. it's hard to believe 4 different people could have fabricated 4 identical plows. I have been looking for years to find a model # but only have seen the pictures here. This is in reply to"Re: Fast hitch plow id"

Here is the answer to your question. The model numbers for the plows are CU-22 for 2 bottom & CU-32 for 3 bottom plows. They were made for use on International 300 Utility tractors. These plows were made in the Hamilton, Ont plant, intended for the Canadian market more than for the U.S., but some of these plows made their way down here. They were produced from 1955 to at least 1957. I have a couple C-22 plows for the small point fast hitch that were made in Hamilton. All of these plows are sidehill plows where you can swing the plow side to side when plowing on hilly ground. There also was a C34-22 and a C34-34 that were intended for Farmall 300`s & 400`s. I have a couple more pics I`ll put in a new post.

A few more pics... I almost forgot, the bottoms on most of these plows are much different than the Plow Chief and Super Chief bottoms common in U.S. There were something called Ace bottoms which were on the plow pictured in my previous post. There were also Rex bottoms , but I don`t think they are the bottoms on the plow on this post. There were quite a few different bottoms used in the Canadian market.

I`m assuming you are a Canadian, as most of the farmers here in the U.S. have never heard of a scotch bottom or Ace or Rex bottom either. Good luck on your plows and I want to see some pictures when you`re done wth them !
