Has anyone ever built one of these?

Anyone have any dimensions on this if I wanted to build it?

Anyone have any issues using one of these?

Will be used on my 140

I see you would have to unbolt and take apart to move from one implement to a different one. And the way the top link assembly is made you would have no control of the tilt of the implement, would only carry back of implement but not keep it from tilting forward. Should be able to modify design to take care of that problem.

Thanks for the input, makes sense.

I would replace the top link with a piece of chain, thin it can float and still lift the disc. Make more than one.

I would want a solid link, not something that can fold up and let the implement come up on top of you, that was the problem that I saw in his picture, the danger of the implement coming up on top of him.

Something solid for the top link but adjustable. Tilting the implement can be done with the front touch
control

That solid but adjustable is something that Harry Ferguson figured out for the hitch for the Sherman plow for the early Fordson tractors in that if it was not solid it could allow the plow to if it cought on something tilt the plow forward and kill the operator. With the solid top link it will not tilt the implement into the operator to kill him. That was figured out I think in the 1920's but might have been in early 30's. Or was it figured out for the Ferguson-Brown Tractor first. But it was known for close to a hundred years now that you DO NOT use a chain for something like that if you want to live. The Idea in that picture is good but with comen sence added in to make the changes it needs.

If you go across a ditch, something has to give when the front of the tractor goes up, the disc needs to also.

It should work if the angles are correct, you will need to have the front of the fast hitch attached to the rod that connects it to the lift unit so you can adjust the angle front to back on the fly.

Most of the fast hitches I see are attached to the platform in front for most work. I’ve never done tillage work with 140’s other than to just try a plow or disc out of curiosity, our ‘garden’ sized disc is 10 foot.

We have two with 3 point conversions on them, they work rather well for the small platers we run with them.

Might want to consider making a toplink like the one on my 3pt conversion that's adjustable.

For the toplink suggestion how about a toplink designed to fight the catagory 0 3pth. They are small and adjustable, would probably fit in there just about right
