I need to replace all of the guards on my mower. Most of the old guards have 668612M1 cast into the top of the guard. Others have MHF cast in the top. I assume these are replacements. My parts manual does not list 668612M1 as a choice so I assume that is an engineering number, not the actual part number. My cutter bar is the one that has a tapered leading edge (668 585 M1, 6ft.). Apparently this style of bar has guards that are unique to it. I have several part numbers in my manual but have had no luck finding them online for a decent price. Where is the cheapest place to get new guards that fit this mower? So far the cheapest price is $10.59 + 5.95 shipping and there wasn't enough of them. I grew up using this mower and would like to keep using it.
I have another F-EO-20 that needs the ledger plate in the wobble box replaced. I have the new plate for it. Are there any secrets, tricks, or tools to replace this riveted plate without disassembling the whole wobble box?
