I've just bought a transport disk at
auction, and I'm trying to figure out what
it is. It was advertised as 9', but I
haven't slung a tape on it yet - I suspect
it's 8'. Any ideas?

From what I can see I would say it is closer to a 9' as probably about 8'8" on back gangs the way they are supposed to be measured but some use front gangs to measure and they are probably closer to 8'. Looks like a 7 on a side disk. Now if it is 6 on a side back gangs would be closer to 7'6". Does not look like a 9" blade spacing but closer to a 7" spacing.

Maybe an IH 35 as IH used angle stock for its frames. Not a 37 to my eye.

Thinking its IHC. It looks similar to one my Dad had back around 1960.

It looks about identical to my 370 ih except the front of the hitch so it?s probably like someone else said a 37 ?
