International 200 Manure Spreader Apron Chain

Yup, click on the link, I have purchased a good bit of chain from them, good folks and quick shipping. You would be wise to take any needed heart medicines before you see the price of a new apron chain though, LOL

I just put a new apron chain on my IHC 200 a couple years back. Ran about $300.00. BUT! I got it from a local Amish guy. If at all possible I strongly suggest you find the nearest Amish community and ask around there. I don't know where they get them, but mine was the proper "Type S" apron chain and was the proper length. The on line prices I found were ridiculous.

Butch - thank you, I saw on the website you posted there was a 10' coil of S type chain. Do you know where you can get the slats that run across the two sections of chain?

Bret - thanks for the advice. I live about an hour and a half from Lancaster, PA. I will try and look for a shop down there that may have something.

Here is a direct link to the apron chain section of the online catalog. Local Amish is a good source for sure but I think you will find that the prices have gone up considerably in the last couple years.

Also forgot to add that if your going to check out Amish suppliers it would save a lot of driving if you go to the Lancaster Farming newspaper web site and take a look see for vendors.

Albus Conveyors can make one and have it shipped to you. (715)532-6060
If you can get it local, it would probably be cheaper because of shipping.

Slats are easy, just go to your local steel yard and get the right size angle. Pay a little extra and they'll cut it up for you, otherwise you need to be able to transport 20' lengths.

For my 100 I found that Shoup had the links the cheapest. They also had the rivets as well. $30 got me hooked up with multiple links, rivets, and they even sent a free hat! My local tractor supply had a roll of the links but they were not quite the same.

Thank you all for the feedback. I will review all the options listed and see what is most cost effective. I need to make sure the tensioning system is not seized up to make sure I can get a new one on.

When I worked in NY we found Albus to be a very good option despite shipping costs. They seem to get decent freight rates. Products and customer service are fantastic.

Yes they are... and I'm lucky enough to live only 5 miles from them. Guess who gets all my manure spreader and chopper box apron business? They stock just about any size roller chain, too.

Actually Butch, Farmchains price is the same as it was when I was looking. The Amish guy says prices are within about $20 for the chain, but trucking is up by 1/3.

(quoted from post at 14:39:19 09/21/18) TSC has the ladder chain for anybody needing one. Also size 60 and 80 roller chain.

I don't see Type "S" flat chain offered by TSC in the catalog. 67, etc, yes, but Type "S" isn't. That;s the size an IHC 200 requires.
