2010 hydraulic pump

How hard is it to remove the hydraulic pump on a 1963 2010 ? I don"t have a book on the old girl but I was wandering about the pump not putting out enough pressure , I have a real good shop here that could check out the pump .

Hi John,
I've been chasing hydraulic system gremlins on my 1520 all summer.
I'd bet most on this board would suggest you do some trouble-shooting before you pull the pump!

Depends what specific 2010 and what pump? Some 2010 wheel tractors have belly pumps with the relief valve built into them.

I would let that shop pull the pump. They are a pain in the posterior to get out especially the earlier ones.

Have you pulled the hydraulic filter and cleaned it? If not,that is the first place tp start.

OMG, it's NOT that tough!

Do you have service manual? It will show the 3 or 4 bolts that need to be removed, then the pump will simply drop out the hole in the bottom of the housing.

She is a 1963 model and no I don't have a service manual
