I know I asked this before, but want to double check I did not miss anything. I have located a late 4640 rebuilt long block. It is a crank driven oil pump type. My tractor is a cam driven oil pump type. Are these two engines the same otherwise, such as water pump and mounting bolt size? I just want to make sure the late engine will bolt into the early tractor. My understanding is the mounting bolts and water pump changed with the 4650, and the late 4640 is the same as the early 4640 except for the oil pump and oil pump drive, but I wanted to make sure. Thanks for any information.
