Anybody using one of these seats on a new gen

I have seen them on them. They really do not set at the correct angle to me. They are more for the 30-40 series open stations to me.

Have the JD one on my 4020 is great for my aging back. I expect the one pictured is aftermarket version. I purchased one like that version when they first came out and even stored indoors the yellow degraded quickly. I do not know if the quality has improved.

I've been thinking of buying one of those seats as well. I'm still on the fence about it. Going to be curious what opinions people have of them.

My son put one similar to that on my 4020 years ago and I hated it as I couldn't turn around to see the drawbar, and it didn't last very long. I only use the original style now.

We have them on everything (4 tractors) and love them, would never go back to the 3 piece style as far as comfort is concerned. In comparison the 3 piece seem to have a much smaller bottom and the back support is so much lower. The 4 piece has a taller back for more comfort, the armrests are high enough to use and the bottom is large and flat. There is a reason JD improved to the newer style when the 30/40 series came out. All that said there are different versions of that seat in the aftermarket world, we had one that was real soft and "cheaper" vinyl and another that's real firm.

Had a Deere brand on a 4320 years ago.
Really didn't care for it.
Then again Deere's current 3 piece seats
are too hard so I don't care for them either.

This is strictly "farmerization", but the seat I use is comfortable and offers good down/back visibility. It's a slightly modified upholstered bass boat seat.

I have one on each tractor- 2520 and 4020. I like them much better than the original. I got one from JD, and the other (which was identical) aftermarket. I just can't remember which "aftermarket" 1

I have one on my 4020 from Deere. Far more comfortable and the angle of the back is adjustable.

That's what I was wondering the last thing I want is to turn this into brand x tractor that you can't see the drawbar had an agco at work and it was impossible to see the drawbar

The Deere seat was thick enough just made differently.
The vinyl is stretched too tight making the seat too hard.
You just don't sink into it like the original ones.

I agree the John Deere seat is way to hard I like the a&i seat style a lot better its twice as thick and a lot softer

Well that would be ok I like to lean back but I worry I won't be able to see my drawbar they last thing I want is to feel like I can't see
