4755 trans.

Is there any value to a 4755 complete quad range transmission. the tractor was in a fire . the oil still looked fine that was in it . some of the paint was burned off mainly the front of the housing. tractor had approx. 7500 hrs on it .didnt want to take it to scrap metal yard if it was worth more to someone who needed parts for theirs.

For sure, yes this has value. You should remove the top cover, and take some pictures of the inside and put an ad. It would go out quick at the right price. I would guess it is worth 1500-2000 for the tranny itself without rear axle, and around 4-5000 if you have the complete hitch and axles.

I'd also call some of the large tractor wrecking yards. Every so often they make a good offer.
