First real use of the 4430 for haying. 12 ac field to cut and bale.
It replaced a 4 cyl 2550 so was anxious to see the difference of a 6 cyl running the same implements. Fuel usage over the span of cutting and rolling bales was around 3 gallons per hour for the 2550. That includes transport to the fields (2 round trips), cutting 12 acres, rolling 12 acres and loading bales when done. The 4430 averaged about 1 gph more on these same tasks. That's pretty good I think!
