Good looking tractor. I am looking at getting one of those from a guy down the road, he still uses it. Has factory round spokes all around
decent tin, and tires. What would you guys think is a good price. He also would like to trade it for an old 70 I have, gas, wide front
pretty good old tractor.

Thoughts?

Thanks.

A lot depends on how you would use the unstyled Model A.

Will the unstyled Model A do the same work that your Model 70 is currently doing.

There was recently an unstyled Model A, in similar condition, that was on CraigsList in S.E. Oklahoma for $3250.

The listing expired after 45 days.

There is an unstyled Model A, in much better condition, that is on CraigsList in N. Central Texas for $3000.

The listing is <a href="https://wichitafalls.craigslist.org/grd/d/john-deere-tractor/6611054920.html">still active</a>; click on the second photo in the listing.

We have three Model 70 gas row crop tractors.

The "[i:654c4848f0]utility[/i:654c4848f0]" of the Model 70 is worth more to us than that of an unstyled Model A in any condition.

The Model 70 has the advantage of a live PTO, Powr-Trol, electric start, lights, seat cushion, hi-lo 6 speed and 50hp.

Ask yourself this question "[i:654c4848f0]If I sold my wide front Model 70 gas tractor, would I offer that amount of money for my neighbors unstyled Model A?[/i:654c4848f0]"

Hope this helps.
