I am not sure exactly what I did ! I am not getting fuel now due to the wiring that I disconnected when I split the tractor .There is a wire coming from the base of the injector pump ,I wired that to a wire that is controlled by the main ignition switch .I can not find any mention of the key shut off in my manual . It might be snowing before I get my hay put up. Any help is welcome !

You didn't mention which injection pump you have, the good old Stanadyne "DB" series, or the smaller and less desirable Stanadyne IP, but either should deliver fuel when there's 12 Volts (nominal) to the terminal on the pump. If a "DB" series, there's a second terminal on the pump that's grounded by a little strap to a cover mounting screw. If something has happened to that ground, the solenoid won't be activated, and no fuel will be delivered.

Have you verified there IS good voltage to the solenoid and/or jumpered battery power directly to it, the underhood connector where the harness splits is a common problem area.

If no solution there, post back with a photo, or a model # from the pump data plate.

Bob ,I do thank you for helping ! Wrong wire ! We got it going after my friend discovered that the wire I had hooked to it had juice to it with the key ON but as you turned the key further to the start mode the current STOPPED. We wired it into another wire so I can get back to the field .I will attack that problem when I finish haying . Thanks Bob
