Recently my early 4020 D has started having a steering issue. Ive had it over 10 years and the wheels have always turned all the way to the left when you first start the tractor. After turning the steering wheel all the way right, the wheels would slowly turn to the right and everything was fine afterwards.
Recently, after the tractor has warmed up, the wheels are slow to turn sometimes, like I have to wait for them to catch up, and other times they turn real fast with the slightest turn of the steering wheel.
Is this a symptom of the steering valve under the steering wheel needing service or perhaps a pump that is weak needing service or both?
