1949 M-H Pony After Pics

This is a 1949 Massey Harris Pony that I restored this summer. I am just now getting around to taking some pics. This tractor belonged to a friend of mine who passed away several years ago and I bought it from his widow. I know most of the black on the tractor was actually red from the factory according to the pics I've seen but I like it like this.

Beautiful job on the restoration. If it was mine, I'd be afraid to start it up and drive it, for fear of scratches or eventual oil leak!

Very nice job Scott. I Like it. I had a Farmall BN many years ago and did a restoration on it too. Yep, didn't want to scratch it, so it did parade duty pulling our Lions Club Float.

Thanks for all of the kind comments. This one is a trailer queen now, I'll take it to a couple of shows each year in rotation with my other tractors. It does run really well, starts on the first turn of the starter. They are a neat little tractor although I bet the sheet metal was a pain to deal with when using/working on one. Most of the pictures I see of these in their working clothes have the side panels gone, now I know why.
I don't see many of these in my part of the country (middle Tennessee), so, it is something kind of different at the shows.
Thanks again.
