1963 Massey 65 narrow front

I looked at data for 1963,
it only showed production numbers for
regular frames and high clearance models
showed no numbers for narrow front models.

just wonder if some high clearance models were converted to narrow front machines.

at first I did not think I could even find a picture of a 1963 model narrow front.
however, the data with this picture said it was a 1963 model, must not have been many of them converted to narrow front.

I think once farmers started buying self propelled combines, that killed off two row corn pickers, then there was very little need for narrow front tractors,

also they were very unstable with front end loaders or working on hillsides, with both front tires together, they did not do well in mud, just pushed it up and you were stuck,

they would turn short for cultivating, but almost no one cultivates anymore,

would be nice to have one to add to a collection, if you can find a good one

I Don't know how many were made, but I've seen a few around. There was one for sale near me in very good condition a while back, I think it was a 1964 though. I
actually prefer narrow fronts over wide, but just a hobby farmer on 50 flat swampy acres.
