AD3 152 injector hold down studs?

I have another thread going on tractor talk asking
about this but I wanted to check here as well. Does
anyone know if the holes in the head for the injector
studs are supposed to be blind or are they open to
coolant? I ask as I have coolant appearing to leak
out from the lower stud on the front injector. The
studs were very recently out. Thanks, Sam

Don't recall on that engine, but some other Perkins I've worked on did have stud holes open to the water jacket, stud sealer would then be needed. The A4.300 in my S90 has exhaust studs into the water too.

Thank you. I just don't want to put sealer on it if the head might be cracked or have other issues. I did just have the studs out. Sam
