Hi there,
I have a MF 50HX digger loader. I noticed that while operating it the hydraulic seal on the outrigger shaft is leaking hydraulic fluid out of it, and substantially. I want to repair this properly but I'll need some time as winter is knocking on my door. I need this thing up and running for snow removal from my driveway.
Soooo....... right now I would like to remove both hydraulic hoses to my outrigger on the left side and plug them with plugs or thread in a ball valve, or anything so that fluid doesn't get to the outrigger. Does anyone have any suggestions as to the wisdom or lack of wisdom for this idea? Keep in mind that this will be a temporary fix.
Now, the permanent fix... assuming I can even get parts for this (I couldn't for some steering parts), can anyone point me in the right direction as to the repair procedure for this type of repair?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
