MF65 Perkins Diesel Block heater

My Son got a MF65 with the Perkins 3.3l diesel and is looking to put a block heater in it. Everything he finds is the 3/4" pipe thread style. He talked with the local Napa dealer and they said it installed on the left side. He looked over the tractor and did not find any place that looked like a 3/4" pipe thread port, all he found was the freeze plugs.

If that is the correct block heater, where does it go?

I really don't want him to attempt to remove a freeze plug. Outside of the freeze plug option, what would be the next best thing if the pipe threaded heater cannot be used?

My 65 diesel with the Perkins AD4-203 has the block heater on the right side, just about in the middle of the block.

As Bob said, it's on the right, starter side of the block. Freeze plug style, my 135 ad3.152 has it there two. Same engine as the 203, just three cylinders.

How did it work out? I see the fivestarmanu websight calls their product a 3/4 NPT heater for a freeze plug, implying a threaded installation, but the picture doesn't look like it has threads. Does it thread in? I thought freeze plugs were generally pressed in, and have been hesitant to mess with them, in fear of upsetting a good seal that has been in place for about 3/4 of the century! I have two MF65s, and would like to be able to use them easier in the winter.
