Hello all new to forums and relatively new to tractor repairs. Got a decent mf 65 a year or so back and fell in love. Right away found a leak in the head gasket so I reworked the head and put it back together it worked hard and long a few months then one day it started running rough, and getting worse the more it ran. I messed with everything I new to before checking compression. It was much lower in #2. I checked the sleeves and found scoring inside. Got a piston and sleeve kit for it and old sleeves out. Then I checked the crankshaft because the crank bearings were excessively worn and found it scored and out of spec. Now I?m kinda lost as to what to do and how to proceed. I?d like to keep the tractor because I have already put more into it than it?s probably worth and I really like it. Any advice on removing the crank and anything else I should look out for would be greatly appreciated.
