MF 375 fuel issue

I have a MF 375. Neighbor used and pulled it back into my shed and shut it down. A month later I went to use it and it would not start.

No fuel to the injectors. I can get fuel spraying out of the bleeders #1 and #2 while cranking. There is fuel on the side of the pump where #3 is marked but no matter how long I crank it never sprays out under pressure.

Any suggestions?

you won't get a spray of fuel from #3 unless the engine is running due to the small delivery rate, you need (air free fuel) coming #2 then #1, once you get that loosen the injector lines a little at the a couple of the injectors crank the engine over until fuel starts to leak at one of the injectors tighten the line continue until all are tightened it will most likely start up before you get them all tightened, if no fuel leaks out the shut off mechanism is stuck in the pump,

Fuel is air free at #1 and #2. Crank it over with injector lines loose for over 3 mins and nothing.

I will investigate shutoff mechanism if I can find a diagram.

Thanks for the reply.

I know "Dieseltech" will bean me for this, but give the pump a few "thumps" with the rubber sole on your number 11 boot, it might just "free" up your stuck metering valve, Evan.

Valve is not stuck. Took top off and it moves freely and if I manually move linkage it responds accordingly.

Crank it over and I get the smallest weep of diesel at the injectors. Nowhere near enough to run off.

I tried the thumping thing first....lol.
