I have a 1970 something MF 275 that has goofy hydraulic issues. Its got a Bush Hog 2425 QT loader on it that works but moves very slowly.
I use it to run a log splitter that seems to also operate fairly slowly.
Both of these run off of one of the aux ports on the back.
The log spliter only registers about 1000 psi maximum which i feel is pretty low for a hydraulic system. Also, in order to get the bucket to lift anything significant, the engine needs to be going full speed. Is that normal?
So far I've replaced the screen filter inside the transmission case. I know very little about the hydraulics on this tractor so any direction for troubleshooting the slow loader/low pressure issue would be appreciated.
I have the service manual for it but, it seems to be really lacking in detaill when it comes to the hydraulic system,
