After watching the G550 sell yesterday on Aumanns online sale I got to thinking. How many of the G550 and G940 are accounted for today? I know that they only built 24 or so of each and think it would be neat to see where they are.

Back in the 90's I went to a local farm auction. I went to look at a Allis WD.
There was also a non running MM. I Can't remember the model number. I know it
was a Oliver 1755 with yellow paint. That was the first and only Oliver in MM
colors that I have seen.

I didn't know the production numbers were that low on the Oliver based
Minnies.

G550 were the rarest of the 4 olivers painted yellow. There were 24 G550, 211 G750, 167 G840, 25 G940.

Is there a way to tell by serial number how they were built from factory? I see some pictures of them online as High Crop, FWA, Tricylce. I just have a hard time thinking that with that limited of production that they were actually built in all the variations but with Oliver parts you could make whatever you wanted.
