good evening all if any one is looking for a mm 670 diesel that looks in decent shape there is one for sale in eastern alberta for $4,500. that add says runs great. john

(quoted from post at 23:52:22 09/10/17) If Medicine Hat, AB is only 1617 miles I think I will have to pass.
actually shinnery the add says the tractor is located near loydminister ab. about another 300 miles north of medicine hat.

just checked the add again shinnery and the tractor is located near lashburn Saskatchewan just east of loydminister the add is on kiji the add # is 1296708429 in the farm equip. category. it has a cultivator hooked on and what looks like a homemade hydraulic set up on the front for a winter snowblade.

Basic M670 made in 1964 or 5. Were a total of 819 made. Only 283 were made with standard
axle. Was replaced with updated Super in 1966.

so howard are you saying you'd like to take the first shift driving the tractor home? there is no danger of frost for a while yet, it was between 80 and 90 degrees f today here around 28 Celsius! nice warm balmy day for a drive on the 670

In '58 when pa bought the farm he and his brother bought a JD B and a JD 60 at an Enderlin ND auction and hooked the 60 behind the B and drove them home which was roughly 200 miles.

that would be a long day!

Sure! I'd take first shift! lol

I love road trips - especially at 10 mph!

My tractor buddy and I drove up to a tractor auction in Swift Current, Saskatchewan a while back. Didn't wind up with a tractor, but it sure was fun seeing all the country and farms up through Wyoming, Montana, Canada, etc.
