My Brother-in-Law and I just bought one for $150 dollars in running condition very rare we can't find one any where on the web but we will have it at the Threshermans weekend in albert city iowa next august
 
That is amazing! I don't normally even visit this forum, but the thread title as the heading, caught my attention, as I logged on.
By all means, please post us some pics over on the Combines and Harvesters forum! All makes and models are welcome over there, since we're a bunch of harvester aficianados.
 

According to famed MM enthusiast & historian Brian Gonyea, this model is better known as an 88.

Does it look like the one in these brochures??

I have been wanting to find an 88 combine but just no luck in finding one. We had one on the farm. It replaced the 69 and we traded it for a 3490 self propelled. I would really like to find one of those 88"s. I have the Operators Manual and parts manual but now need the combine.

I'm just guessing, but I think the HF might be the designation given to 88s sold by Frick (steam engine company). I have one in rough shape ($5 at farm sale - had to borrow wheel to tow it home). There is another one nearby in better shape. That makes three that I know of.
