So I'm trying to save myself a bunch of tracing. Have juice at the starter and solenoid and at ignition switch. But the switch doesn't activate the starter. The starter looks exactly the same as my 705 but the solenoids are different. the 705 has the round with 3 terminals but the 1000 has what looks like a solenoid from a ford truck- 4 terminals. Only 3 of those terminals are hooked up. Should all 4 terminals be hooked up? Also what about the neutral start switch- when should it have juice to it? When the key is turned on or when the key is turned to the start position? Also that small solenoid activates that big what I'll call starter gear throw in on top of the starter right? So if that small solenoid is bad it won't activate the starter, but I should still get some clicking or some noise at it, which I'm not, shouldn't I? I get absolutely nothing by turning the key. I just am suspicious of that solenoid not being right. Hoping this is simple- it's to dang cold to for complicated. Thanks
