G1000 still heating

So I think this is still coming down to this new water pump. Everything else seems right but water is still disappearing. It stays cool for a bit and then all of a sudden it starts to get warm. Hard to explain, it's just that at a certain length of time the temp goes up. So I just started it and watched. There is water leaking out of this new pump some where, can't really tell where but it from there, and it seems enough must leak out and then it starts getting hot. Can't see it while in the cab cause it's dripping directly under the center of the tractor. But it seems right cause the tractor stays cool while working it till enough must leak out. Just is crazy cause the leak doesn't look like much, but? Either way I'm getting a new pump, but not from the same place.

Put a pressure tester on it, get some pressure on the cooling system. Your leak should leak when the tractor is not running also. Then it will be easier to see where it is coming from. Did you shim the pump correctly when installed?

Have you had that radiator recored yet? You've received a lot of good info here, pay attention to these good folks.

The Radiator was fixed and completely taken care of. I thought I did the pump right, but I will go back thru things and see what I did wrong. It does not leak while off. It's doing the same as my 91 F250- Absolutely no drip while sitting- only when running until it finally got bad enough then it leaked while stopped. Anyway I'll get back after it in a week or two. want to use it this winter but right now it's just something to fiddle with in my spare time.

I've not fought with a G1000 pump like your issue, but I know on these old 800 and HD800 irrigation engines - it is the wierdest thing with those water pumps. A lot of times when they start getting some wear, they'll hold water fine while they are working, but the first time you kill it, they'll start weeping water out and drain the system...
