Propain tank

Im building a 5 star puller and am setting it up for propain. The tractor is a gasoline model and i want to have the propain tank under the 5 star sheet metal were the gas tank would have been. Im having a hard time finding a liquid 20 LB tank and the 33LB tanks are too big. Any ideas on were to find a tank?

I just flip the 20 lb bottles upside down.

Ive never ran a tractor long term that way but I do transfer fuel into the tractor tank that way.

THe scrubber tanks should work fine for your project. Scrubber tanks are mostly 20# but a grill tank pulls vapor and upside down, the OPD valve will shut off the flow and the old style valve would work, but no one is going to fill it.

I would use a older 20 lb. Bottle upside down. I have a liquid withdrawl valve on my house tank. My truck driver installed it. Fill my own tanks.

I keep reading that the OPD valve will stop the flow if the tank is flipped over. I do it all the time with tanks that are less that are two years old. That is how I fuel my Vista, 670, and 335.

What am I missing?

I just bought one of the floor buffer 20LB tanks and it has a vapor valve on it but when i flip it I get liquid out of it, Im not sure what everyones talking about on that shutoff. I think this might work
